Contech was founded in 1980, the original mission of Contech was to provide Instrument, Electrical, and Automation Engineering/Design Services. Contech has executed many modernizations of early pneumatic and electronic single loop control systems to first-generation distributed control systems. These services were eventually expanded to also include Process Analyzer Services around 1985. This combination gave Contech a good cross-section of Automation and Analytical capabilities which included the assembly and packaging of analyzer systems into the shelter.

To continue the expansion of Contech's capabilities. Contech started supplying Instrument technicians for commissioning and startup support for our projects around 1995. The addition of Instrument Technicians led to a full Instrument and Electrical Construction Services Group that now supports capital projects, and turnarounds. and plant maintenance services. Contech was now a full turnkey analytical, automation, and controls solution provider with the ability to provide Instrument, Electrical, Analytical, and Automation services from frontend engineering through detail design/engineering and y, Construction all either stand-alone or turnkey. The evolution of Contech led to a rare combination of capabilities that has positioned us in the market with few competitors.

Contech has continued its growth with the opening of an office on the west side of Houston, located in the Houston n's Energy Corridor. Contech has successfully provided Engineering. Procurement and Construction services to key customers in the energy, petroleum and chemical processing industries for nearly 40 years.
